Intake: a first talk
We would like to talk with you about how you want to shape your future. Do you already know what you want and are you going to take your concrete steps? Like starting a study or finding a job. Or would you like to know more about the possibilities in the Netherlands? Maybe you want to start your own business? We like to think along with you. Especially also about the possibilities you have while your procedure as an asylum seeker is still ongoing.
Finding a job
After six months in procedure, you will have the opportunity to work. Many asylum seekers take advantage of this opportunity. It is nice to have extra income in a situation where you are not very well off.
We help you find work that matches your experience and interests. By doing so, you not only help yourself for the moment, but also work on your future in a sustainable way. If necessary, we will assist you with additional study you need to be able to work here in the Netherlands.
We also want to help you materially. If you stay in an AZC, you have no fixed costs for housing or insurance, for example. When you earn money through work, a part of your income is withheld for this. That seems fair, but on the other hand, you also want to save money to invest it in your future. We help you do that and advise you with a personal plan.
Starting a business
If you are up for it and you have the drive, then starting your own business can be a good decision. You will then be more autonomous in earning an income. For newcomers, it can be difficult in the labour market.
Starting your own business is not easy either, but we will help you with that. Among other things, we help you draw up a business plan, organize intervision and arrange practical matters. We are a community of newcomer entrepreneurs who help each other and, for example, partially cooperate in marketing.
Because we are a social organization, we want to help you in particular if you are starting a social enterprise that has social goals in addition to making a profit.
Stand by your side
After an initial conversation, we will explore with you the possibilities for a future path. By combining our various areas of expertise, we are able to work with you in particular to come up with a customized, Taylor-made, plan. Consider the combination of study and work. Or acquiring work experience within the organizations we network with. Particularly able and willing to reserve your income from work for a later time, so that you can invest it, for example, in your home or in a business.
