About Us

This initiative was set up by newcomers, for newcomers. Many of us have a good theoretical or practical education and work experience in our country of origin. We bring with us a different cultural background and are often enterprising. We are eager to continue our careers here in the Netherlands.

Our Mission
Our mission is to bring people to their full potential. Especially in their professional lives, either as employees or entrepreneurs.
We realise that sometimes there is a lack of mutual knowledge, a misfit due to misunderstandings. But we also see that newcomers bring new energy, perhaps a different kind of creativity, and that they (that means us) add value and can be a happy part of our society.

A Dar al Yasmin initiative
This initiative is linked to Dar al Yasmin Foundation, an independent foundation of newcomers.
Dar al Yasmin Foundation has a broader aim to bring newcomers to their full potential, for instance in welfare, wellbeing, education and self-expression.
Our activities around wellbeing and self-expression find their place in Dream Agency.

Partners
As Dar al Yasmin Foundation, we work with a wide range of partner organisations in the fields of welfare, work, entrepreneurship, education and culture.
In Nijmegen, for example, we cooperate with a network of organisations in the field of well-being and health (Groen, gezond en in beweging). Besides local organisations, we work together with, for example, Pharos (preventive health), ‘Het begint met taal’ (language education).
We also collaborate Europe-wide with an organisation from Romania, which focuses mainly on migrant workers (Migrants Brasov).
Finally, we like to mention that we ourselves within Dar al Yasmin Foundation are also a network of organisations. So we also like to make use of our own expertise.
Are you interested in cooperation? Get in touch! For example, we would like to cooperate with local organisations from other regions.
